EKSU Part-Time Degree Admission Form for 2020/2021 Session | AceRabbit.com.ng

The management of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its part-time degree programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session. See the courses, requirements and how to apply for the EKSU part-time admission form below.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Bachelors Degree Programmes approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in the Part-Time programmes of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria for the 2020/2021 academic session.

EKSU Part-Time Degree Available Programmes

The Degree Programmes available are

  1. B.Sc. Accounting
  2. B.Sc. Finance
  3. B.Sc. Business Administration
  4. B.Sc. Actuarial Science
  5. B.Sc. Cooperative Economics and Management
  6. B.Sc. Entrepreneurial Studies
  7. B.Sc. Industrial Relations and Personnel Management
  8. B.Sc. Insurance
  9. B.Sc. Marketing
  10. B.Sc. Economics
  11. B.Sc. Sociology
  12. B.Sc. Psychology and Behavioural Studies
  13. B.Sc. Geography and Planning Science
  14. B.Sc. Political Science
  15. B.A. History and International Studies
  16. B.A. Philosophy
  17. B.A. French
  18. B.A. English and Literary Studies
  19. B.A. Religious Studies
  20. B.Sc. Mathematics
  21. B.Sc. Statistics

EKSU Part-Time Degree Admission General Entry Requirements

FOR THE 3-YEAR PROGRAMMES

  • HND with a minimum of lower credit in relevant discipline
  • HND with pass and PGD in relevant discipline
  • University first degree with a minimum of pass in relevant discipline

FOR THE 4-YEAR PROGRAMMES

  • ND with a minimum of lower credit in relevant discipline

FOR THE 5-YEAR PROGRAMMES

  • Olevel with at least 5 credits level passes in relevant subjects at not more than 2 sittings

EKSU Part-Time Degree Admission Specific Entry Requirements

EKSU ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FIVE YEAR PROGRAMMES

  1. B.Sc. Accounting
  2. B.Sc. Finance
  3. B.Sc. Business Administration
  4. B.Sc. Actuarial Science
  5. B.Sc. Insurance
  6. B.Sc. Cooperative Economics and Management
  7. B.Sc. Marketing
  8. B.Sc. Industrial Relations and Personnel Management
    • Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes in Olevel/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB. The passes must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects from Geography, Government, Principles of Account. Commerce, History Business Studies, Tourism, Civic Education, Yoruba, Hosptality Management, Computer Studies
  9. B.Sc. Entrepreneurial Studies
    • Five (5) credit passes in OLevel/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB. The passes must include:English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any other two subjects from Geography, Government, History, Business Studies, Tourism, Civic Education, Yoruba, Hospitality Management, Computer Studies.
  10. B.Sc. Economics
    • Five (5) credit passes in Olevel/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in Mathematics Economics, English Language and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social Sciences.
  11. B.Sc. Sociology
    • Five (5) credit passes in Olevel/SCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English language, Mathematics, any two Social Science subjects and any other subject.
  12. B.Sc. Psychology and BehaviouralStudies
    • Five (5) credit passes in Olevel/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects, one of which must be a Social science subject.
  13. B.Sc. Geography and Planning Science
    • Five (5)0level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in Mathematics, English Language, Geography and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social Sciences.
  14. B.Sc. Political Science
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in Mathematics, English Language, Government and two other subjects, one of which must be a Social Science subject.
  15. B.A. History and International Studies
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English language, History/Government and three other subjects, one of which must be one of the Arts subject.
  16. B.A. French
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English language and any other four subjects
  17. B.A. Philosophy
    • Five (5)Olevel credit passes in five subjects in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinationin English Language, with at least a Pass in Mathematics and credit passes in any four other subjects
  18. B. A. English and Literary Studies
    • Five (5)0level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language and Literature in English and any three subjects from Yoruba, Government,History, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, French, Hausa, lgbo,Mathematics, Economics and Civic Education.
  19. B. A. Religious Studies
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English language and any other four subjects.
  20. B. Sc. Mathematics
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinationin English language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science.
  21. B. Sc. Statistics
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English language, Mathematics, Physics, and any two other subjects from Biology, Agric Science,Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Government andCivic Education.
  22. B. Sc. Environmental Management
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English language Mathematics. Geography and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social/Management Science
  23. B. Sc. Tourism and Hospitality Management
    • Five (5) Olevel credit passes in SSCE/GCENABTEB Examinations in English language, Mathematics and any other three subjects, two of which must be from the Faculties of Science, Management and Social Sciences.

EKSU ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FOUR YEAR PROGRAMMES

Applicants must possess the OLevel requirements as contained in (1-23) for the intended programme of study. In addition, candidates must have:

  • National Diploma in relevant disciplines with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized institution

OR

  • At least two GCE/A level passes in relevant subjects.

OR

  • Higher National Diploma in relevant disciplines with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized institution.

EKSU ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TOP-UP PROGRAMME

Applicants must possess the OLevel admission requirements tor the intended programmes of study. In addition, candidates must possess at least a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant disciplines from a recognized institution or a first degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University.

How to Apply for EKSU Part-Time Degree Admission Form

  • Go to University Portaleksuportal.eksu.edu.ng
  • Click on apply admission
  • Enter your details to create a new sign-in account
  • On successful log on to your dashboard, locate and click on PART-TIME APPLICATION.
  • Proceed to make payment on REMITA-visit the University website for guidelines on how to pay for PARTTIME APPLICATION on REMITA
  • After completing step 5, enter your RRR on the Portal to confirm payment
  • Proceed to fill your biodata and print out your screening sheet aftercompletion.

NOTE:

  • The OLevel requirements for all courses are to be obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • All advertised programmes run on PART-TIME basis i.e. on Weekends and Weekdays except for B.Sc. Computer Science that runs on Weekdays only.
  • All duly completed applications must be submitted within six weeks from the date of this advertisement
